Last Saturday morning,
I rode my bike to the forest park to paint landscapes.
I carried my sketchbook, paints and a bottle of water in my backpack.
I planned to stay there until sunset to finish a painting of the lake.
When I finished half of my work at noon, I felt hungry.
I put down my painting tools and walked to the park shop to buy bread.
I was so focused on my meal
that I forgot my backpack beside the lake bench.
It was not until I wanted to continue drawing that I realized my mistake.
I rushed back to the bench, only to find my backpack gone.
Panic washed over me.
I searched every path nearby, calling out but getting no reply.
An elderly park keeper passed by and noticed my anxiety.
I told him what had happened,
and he promised to check the park’s surveillance cameras with me.
We walked to the park office together.

上周六早晨，我骑车前往森林公园写生。
