I carried a heavy schoolbag
and hurried home after evening self-study.
The street lamps cast dim light on the quiet sidewalk.
When I reached the alley entrance,
I found my wallet missing from my pocket.
I panicked and walked back along the road to search for it anxiously.
A middle-aged man walked towards me
and held a black wallet in his hand.
Seeing him staring at me,
I thought he had picked up my wallet and refused to return it.
I spoke to him in a cold tone without waiting for his full explanation.

昏暗的路灯将微光洒在冷清的人行道上。
走到巷子口时，我发现口袋里的钱包不见了。

见他望着我，我便认定他捡到了我的钱包却不愿归还。
