It was pouring rain on my way home after school.
I held my thin umbrella tightly,
struggling against the strong wind that nearly turned it inside out.
Through the blur of raindrops,
I spotted an elderly grandma standing alone by the roadside.
Her shopping bag had split open,
fruits and vegetables rolling all over the wet pavement,
and she had no umbrella to shield herself from the heavy downpour.
Many passers-by hurried past, too busy to stop and offer a hand.
Without hesitation, I walked straight over to her.

放学回家的路上，大雨倾盆。
我紧紧攥着单薄的雨伞，狂风几乎把伞吹翻，我举步维艰。
